Digital Marketing and Social-Media Specialist *Temporary Mandate (maternity leave)

New Roots Herbal is a leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality natural health products in Canada, based in Vaudreuil-Dorion. We are looking for a person to fill a temporary mandate (maternity leave replacement) for a duration between fourteen (14) and sixteen (16) months with the possibility of permanence, to replace our Digital Marketing and Social-Media Specialist. Tasks and Responsibilities

Create and implement attractive and engaging digital and social-marketing assets
Content/marketing text creation, development, and revision (English/French)
Analyze digital and social analytics data, KPIs, etc.
Provide market trends, competitor analyses and suggestions for marketing initiatives
Support and promote brand awareness and recognition
Participate in product launches
Contribute to optimize the user experience of the corporate websites
Various other marketing projects

Skills and Competencies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English/French) (*English is required, as most of our clients are located outside of Quebec - Canada and international)
Skilled in crafting engaging videos from original and pre-existing media
Solid knowledge of social platforms and analytical skills tracking social, brand, and community metrics
Experience with media execution such as Meta/Facebook Ads, SEO, influencers, Google Ads, etc.
Proven experience with MS Office and Google Suite
Data-driven and attention to detail (database marketing skills)
Exceptional time management skills: ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask
Proven team player who is both flexible and adaptable
Interest in naturopathy / natural products is an asset

Education and Experience

Bachelor or college degree in marketing (or equivalent)
Minimum of three (3) years of experience with digital marketing and social media

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, at the office, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (flexible)
Temporary, full-time contract (40 hours per week)
Fourteen (14) to sixteen (16)-month contract with possibility of permanence
